So, as I write, Kris and I are on our 3rd annual girls weekend! We went last night to see our boys (NKOTB) The concert was GREAT!!! (as usual) and we had a lot of fun. We met up earlier in the day with some girls we met last year and headed into Chicago. We ended up getting a little concerned that we might not make it back in time because of the way the traffic was crawling. We did with plenty of time to spare. Today Kris and I are off to do some shopping......not sure where or what we will find, but guaranteed to be a good time. I mean, shopping always is, isn't it???
In other life aspects, my ex's grandpa died about a week and a half ago. His brother and one of his kids came in from England where they are currently living. He and my nephew came to each of my kids soccer games and watched my daughter march the drumline at the Memorial Day parade. It was good to see them. They will likely be in England another 3 years, as he is going to school there.
My brother and family came home Wednesday evening...we met them as they got off the plane and went to dinner with them. The girls have grown so much!! However, Jordan did beat Alexie by a little in the height department. Alexie was a little taller last year when Jordan went to the Philippines, so Jordan was hoping that she would have her beat when they came home. Which she did. :) They are here until September, so hopefully we will get to see them often.
So, that is life currently. I am still busy (always will be!), but hopefully will be slowing down for a month or two while there is no soccer or football happening. Who am I kidding?!
